Adaptive Sports Connection

About

How They Help

How do your programs or services help the community?

Our programs support and encourage the over 200,000 individuals with cognitive and physical challenges in Central Ohio and the surrounding communities.

Program Descriptions

Cycling

Cycling is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get moving. Adaptive Sports Connection is committed to helping people, despite their disabilities, bike where they want when they want. They provide a wide variety of bikes, from hand-powered bikes for those with no or limited leg movement, to tandem cycles for individuals who want a guide while riding. They offer group rides, individual lessons, and bike rental. Through their Bikes to Go program, they help children and adults own their own bikes – specifically tailored to meet their needs and abilities.

Go Baby Go

Go Baby Go gives infants, toddlers, and young children with significant movement impairments resources to explore the space around them. By providing children’s toy cars with adaptive accessories, children can grow in self-confidence, motor development, and problem-solving skills.

Sports and Recreations

Adaptive Sports Connection offers programs in kayaking, skiing and snowboarding, water skiing, climbing, paddle boarding, sailing, and boating for those of all ages with a wide variety of disabilities and their families. Sports and recreation activities are continuously expanding to meet the interests and desires of participants.
